Average resources-project decision time in 2025 — up 60% since 2019.

Mining companies and regulators work from one live case record — from exploration through closure — instead of reconciling two systems by email.
It takes an average of 17 years for a mine in Australia to progress from discovery to production, and permitting is central to that timeline. Access to shared approval information and a real-time view of what stage an application is at in the process can help reduce delays.

Every approval mapped, with its own workflow and required documents.
Tenement and approval boundaries on an interactive map — upload GIS data from your site or multiple sites for a company.
Every document, data and permit history in one record, not scattered across inboxes.
Actual timeframes are built in to show schedules and identify delays across your portfolio
Every message and commitment logged and recorded.
Bonds and estimated closure costs tracked against each approval.
No migration project. Both sides work from the same case within a week.
Active applications loaded in — users see the same record from day one.
Every approval mapped to its real timeframe, so you know what is due when.

WHO'S BEHIND APPROVALS TRACK
Founded by Ramith Samayamanthree and Dr. Jason Dunlop, who between them bring over 30 years of mining industry experience — including firsthand experience with approvals from both the company and regulator side. Approvals Track is developed with the backing of the University of Queensland, through their Ventures program.
Data is scoped to your organisation and relevant regulatory agency on a shared case. You choose who has access and your information is never visible to anyone else. Hosting and access details are set out in writing before any pilot.
It sits outside of the systems you already use for documents and case files but you won’t need to enter data — the system records and collates information from existing sources.
Nothing to switch yet. It means a short conversation about how approval processes are managed by your team and to provide you with early access once the platform is ready to pilot.
Approvals Track is in active development, built with direct input from the mining companies and regulators who'll use it. Early access signups shape what ships first.
Tell us a bit about your organisation and we'll be in touch about early access.
